Hager Elcom: A Professional Tool for Electrical Planning
Hager Elcom is a software that allows you to plan, order and document switchgear with ease. It is designed for professionals who need a reliable and efficient tool for their electrical projects. However, Hager Elcom has been officially replaced by hagercad, a more advanced and user-friendly software that offers more features and functions. The official support for Hager Elcom ended on December 31, 2017[^1^]. Therefore, Hager Elcom is no longer available for download as a 30-day trial version - version 5.1. If you are an existing Hager Elcom customer, you have been automatically notified and received a voucher code for the free license generation of the full version hagercad.expert[^1^]. If you still want to use Hager Elcom, you need to meet the following system requirements:
The software runs on any PC equipped with the operating system Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 8.1[^1^].
Processor requirement: - At least 1 GHz and 512 MB RAM - Standard 2 GHz and 1024 MB RAM[^1^]
The installation requires 700 MB of free disk space[^1^]
You need administrator rights for the installation or uninstallation of Elcom[^1^]
ATTENTION: Close all open and all programs opened by autostart during the installation of Elcom and Elcom Patch, including background running virus scan programs and e.g. the mouse driver Setpoint from Logitech[^1^].
Note on installation: Please uninstall the currently installed version from your computer. Save the following files from Elcom 5.1 before uninstalling: Project folder (standard is ) self-created macros (...Elcom\\5.1\\MacroUser or in Macrosym>) the logo file (...Elcom\\5.1\\logofirma.bmp>) the database file from the directory contains your customers and third-party products. All other data will be recreated by the installation. Then install the new Elcom version 5.1c 216.17 (as of 11/2016)[^1^].
